Remember the backpack? Brad Hoffman or B-rad as he is well known started this adventure in 1987 promoting local bands along with surf and skate contests in Ocean City, Maryland. Then came the Rad Show. A unique surf industry trade show with skate ramps, fashion runways and no frill vendor booths. Some of his earliest supporters were Volcom, Electric Eyewear, Sanuk, Stussy, Quiksilver and Billabong. 

A life long surfer and skater Brad realized he needed to appeal to a broader audience and take his passion for creating events to the next level. Major national brands hired Brad to execute events and market their products. NBC, Alli Sports, Toyota, Dub and several other companies trusted him with their marketing dollars and realized he always delivered a positive customer experience. 

In 2000, Brad decided too switch gears and head in a new direction creating Spark Productions. This new company specialized n automotive and action sports events. Spark Productions established events as the OC Car & Truck Show, Baltimore Custom Car & Show and the Funk Master Flex Car Show in Ocean City, MD and Myrtle Beach, SC. At this time Brad created a new Custom Car Zone at the annual MotorTrend International Auto Show in Baltimore, MD and began producing the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Ocean City, MD. 

In 2013, Brad's vision grew even bigger when his new company LiveWire Media & Events acquired Spark Productions. The new team developed the The Virginia Hot Rod & Custom Car Show was in Hampton, VA. LiveWire Media & Events then partnered with Ocean City Jeep Week. They became the driving force behind this event that is now recognized as one of the nations most successful Jeep festivals with over 1,700 registered Jeeps and over 10,000 spectators. 

Embracing new possibilities is what LiveWire is all about right now. They are currently working to create amazing media and produce quality events.
